Peter Rickards was born in Toowoomba, Queensland and his love of photography started at a very young age when he was given his first camera – a Box Brownie Model D – by his father. This fascination of taking photographs of family members and landscapes progressed to a real passion in later years and culminated with Peter shooting many weddings in and around Toowoomba from the early eighties on.
Now residing back in Toowoomba after several years away, Peter enjoys shooting school photos, weddings and family portraits. His family business and fully equipped studio is located at Blue Mountain Heights. Peter only uses quality photographic equipment that includes film cameras, quality lenses and state of the art Nikon professional digital cameras. Whether it is indoors or out, Peter’s relaxed and friendly approach will show through in all your photos. He will ensure that each photo is composed yet natural at the same time.
